| Everything has been crazy lately. I took on another temp job with Capital Blue Cross, only with the promise that it would eventually turn into a permanent position. And it pays a dollar more an hour, so that's pretty cool. I started February 27th. The week I started with CBC, I also had another interview scheduled with M&T Bank for a Trust Administrative Assistant position. So I went to the first interview, did well and was asked to come in for the second interview. I had that interview on Tuesday and today I found out I got the job!! woohoo! It will be my first "real" job. And it's only been just under two years since I graduated! haha God is good. He also protected me today when my car spun out of control and got stuck in an embankment. Not a scratch on me or the car. Praise Him! | | |
| wow i just realized i have not updated this in a looong time. well anyways, here's what has happened in my life since august. my boyfriend and i broke up, but it was pretty mutual and we are friends now so it is cool. my brother just took his lsat a couple months ago and is planning on going to law school in the fall. since i'm staying with him right now i might get kicked out -long story. on the brighter side my other brother and his wife had a baby boy in september! so that makes me what? an aunt? haha -I love him to pieces, just wish i could see him more. also my cousin had a baby girl- our family is just swimming in babies lately! i'm still at the same life-sucking job at Delta Dental. I have been a temp there for over a year now, yeah i know - it stinks. still don't know what i want to do with my life, i feel like i'm wasting it right now. i really want to trust that God has a plan for me. i am so tired of the same thing day in and day out. anyways i guess that's about it, life keeps going no matter how lost you feel... | | |
| wow, in the last couple months alot has been happening. My van broke down, the transmission went. I had to sell it to the garage i took it to to get fixed and I found out it actually was turned into a race car! lol So anyways i had to buy a car- a 2004 Chevy Classic. I love it! Also, I'm actually getting a cell phone. (Email me if you want my number.) And the biggest news is that I started dating someone. We've been going out for a little over a month now. We met at church. He is so sweet and a really strong Christian. So yeah, things have been going really well lately. And I'm so grateful to God for how much He has blessed me. Take care everyone! | | |
| let's see, what's been going on in my life for the past month and a half? Well, I joined another small group, so I'm in two now:). I'm making alot of new friends at church and they are a real blessing to me. I'm still temping at Delta Dental while interviewing for HR jobs. just had an interview the week before last that seemed perfect for me but i didn't get it. I was bummed but had a peace about it. Presently there is a prospective job with Hershey Foods in their HR department. They will only be interviewing three ppl so that at least ups my chances. Oh, I got my first credit card :). very exciting. It's so pretty too. Everyone is always like, "Be careful!" but I'm really good with my money so i just see it as a chance to build up my credit. I can't wait til next week, i haven't been home in awhile and it'll be good to see ppl at church. I might take off Good Friday cause we don't get any vacation days at work over Easter, which i think is an absolute abomination. I mean, we got off for President's Day and seriously, who celebrates President's Day? come on now ppl. but right now I'm skipping choir practice cause i'm completely exhausted and have had something going on every night of this week. and i'm looking at the mess i call my room and groaning cause things are starting to pile up and when that happens things get lost and then i'm all disorganized and have no idea what's going on any more. ok, i really need a vacation. but meanwhile, God is good, I prayed for encouragement this week and i got it. love you all! | | |
| the biggest news lately is that I'm going to be an aunt! I'm so excited. Anne isn't due til september, but being the artsy person that I am, I've already started a cute little counted cross stich with little bunnies and flowers and a rainbow, and then in the middle it says "God gave us" and the name of the baby, the date and the weight. yay, I'm gonna be the best aunt ever!
in other news, I have some awesome pics from a Mary Kay party i went to a few weeks ago. Aren't we so pretty? :)
